Lumen's Enterprise Operations organization is looking for a Project Manager Intern on our Custom PMO team. The intern will be responsible for coordinating various assigned project activities that may include gathering and reviewing a variety of data using company resources, compiling and formatting data to a finished product, and getting necessary approvals to meet required management timelines.Other responsibilities of intern will include:

• Support project-based work across various customers, focusing on custom networks and hyperscaler customers
• Act as a conduit between customer-facing teams and the larger custom networks organization for delivery
• Manage project management opportunities around reporting, overlap, and ad hoc tasks as they arise
• Engage with every aspect of the business, including sales, design, installation, and constructionWhat We Look For in a Candidate

  • Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior level education status at the start of the internship
  • Graduating August 2025 - May 2026
  • Preferred fields include but not limited to: Business Administration, MIS, Finance
  • Intern must be able to work 40 hours per week during the 10-week program (May 30 - August 8, 2025)Proficiency and understanding of:
    • MS office SuitePreferred qualifications
      • Background in business administration, management, finance, economics, or related fields with some analytics or technical skills
      • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative on projects
      • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with internal teams
      • Organizational skills and a sense of urgency in task completion
      • Curiosity and the willingness to engage in thought-provoking workCompensation
        Internship compensation ranges depend on each individual's level of education, geographic location, and experience/qualifications aligned to the role.Hourly Based Pay Range:Min: $22.00/hourMax: $35.00/hourWhat to Expect Next
