Location: Alexandria, LA 71301
Duration: 13 Weeks
8hours varied shifts Monday-Friday
Pay Package: $2704/Week
Summary:
The Perioperative Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable
for the delivery if individualized nursing care to patients having
surgical interventions. Incorporating current clinical knowledge
with established nursing practice, heor she performs nursing
interventions utilizing the nursing process. Assessing,planning,
implementing and evaluating the nursing care delivered to assigned
patients.Included within this assignment is the responsibility for
ensuring effectivecommunications between the nurse, the patient,
other staff, supervision,physicians, anesthesia providers and other
hospital departments.Per theDepartments Scope of Practice, this
position requires providing quality care inan efficient and safe
manner that demonstrates an understanding of
thefunctional/developmental age of the individuals served.
(infant-older adults).
Requirements:
One-year recent experience in the surgical setting required. 5
years surgical scrub experience required.
Current Louisiana RN License
Current BLS Card
ACLS Certification required
